
Elisa Money is a Seattle-based theatre artist, musician, writer, and producer originally from Vancouver, BC. Their work spans composition, music direction, orchestration, arranging, performance, music preparation, recording, and new musical development.
Over the past decade, they have collaborated on productions, workshops, and new works across the United States and Canada, working extensively in regional theatre and musical development spaces. Selected collaborators and organizations include Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Rep, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, and Stage Rights Publishing.
Elisa has also worked extensively as a copyist and music assistant for theatre and new musical development. Their copy work has supported productions, workshops, and publishing processes for numerous new musicals, including Yankee Doodle Dandy and Streakin’ Thru The 70s, now published through Concord Theatricals and David Spicer Productions, respectively.
They are currently developing several original theatrical works as a writer/composer, while continuing to collaborate on new musicals and live performance projects throughout the United States and Canada.
Outside of theatre, Elisa releases original music under their own name, self-producing and recording projects that range from folk songwriting and punk records to electro-swing film scores and experimental pop singles. Their recent single build a fire received airplay on KEXP.
